iRacing has announced a major addition to their online racing simulation as the Circuit de la Sarthe will join their simulation.
The 13,6 kilometer track is known around the world as the home of the Le Mans 24 Hours, using a mix of permanent race track (also known as the Bugatti Circuit) and public roads, including the six-kilometer Hunaudieres straight, or Mulsanne as English-speaking sports car racing fans call it.
As you can see in the video below, the iRacing crew has already completed an extensive data gathering session on the track, a release date has not yet been revealed but it most likely will be sometime in 2016 as other tracks should be ahead in the development pipeline, including iRacing’s laser-scanned N??rburgring Nordschleife.
