iRacing has supposedly announced a mobile racing game called iRacing Mobile.
Before throwing fits in the comment section, please remember that despite being uploaded on March 31, this is most likely an early April fools joke.
The guys at iRacing have gone a long way to convince us that this is real though, even setting up a proper-looking website along the video you can watch below.
Still, some parts of the announcement are a dead giveaway, such as the claim that iRacing Mobile will use so much resources to develop that it will slow down the progress on iRacing’s laser-scanned Nordschleife as well as the claim that PC & Mac support will eventually be dropped all together, in favor of the mobile application.
So yeah, nice try guys, but you get an A for effort and for the production-values of the whole thing!
On a quick personal note, I don’t really like April fools??and as such VirtualR has always stayed a April fools-free zone. So there’s no need to wonder whether everything that’s posted in the next 24 hours is real…this story remains the only exception ????
