InsideSimRacing.tv have gotten their hands on Thrustmaster’s brand new TS-PC Racer FF Force Feedback wheel, putting it through a first test.

The TS-PC Racer FF is powered by a brushless 40-watt Force Feedback motor that is being kept cool by the company???s newly-developed ???Motor Cooling Embedded??? system, or MCE for short that ensures the motor maintains its performance level even in intense usage.

Also on board is the new F.O.C. algorithm (for Field Oriented Control) that boost the precision of Thrustmaster???s H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) system providing 16-bit resolution (65,536 values). Like the T500 RS, the wheel comes with a maximum of 1080 degrees rotation, being fully compatible to all products in the Thrustmaster wheel ecosystem, including several pedal sets, shifter and wheel rims.

Speaking of rims, the TS-PC Racer FF ships with a open-wheel style cutout wheel rim that is becoming more and more popular in race cars around the globe, featuring six buttons, a rotary encoder, shifter pedals and suede handgrips.

The wheel is now available, selling for a suggested retail price of ???549.99 / $499.99.
