Carrera.4 has released a new track in his long line of 1988 Formula One season tracks for rFactor as a historical version of the German Hockenheimring is now available.
As usual, the track is richly detailed with adboards from the late 80s, making this track the perfect choice not just for F1 1988 for rFactor but other historical mods like the DRM Revival.
Hockenheim 1988 brings back the times when the German F1 venue was much more than the sterile modern F1 venue it is today. The 1998 layout is almost seven kilometers in length, featuring three long straights through the woods interrupted by the different chicanes. The old Hockenheim was famous for high-speed slipstream battles that created some very exciting racing.
