Following the licensing announcement of the Glickenhaus??P4/5 Competizione, Simbin has secured the next car to appear in their upcoming GTR3 title as the Corvette C6.R GT2 will be part of the new title.
The C6.R is the successor of Corvette’s ultra-successful C6.R GT1-class challenger, the Pratt & Miller outfit left the GT1 class for GT2 in the 2009 season due to the lack of opponents in the bigger GT class.
The car is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine putting out 470hp, enough power to help the car win the GTE class of the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours. There are no in-game previews of the car available yet, instead we get to listen to a sound sample of the car’s mighty V8 engine.
