Simbin’s GTR Evolution is scheduled to be released at the end of June. With the release being less than four weeks away, some people are worried because of the lack of info. Despite the initial announcement and four additional screenshots, nothing could be heard about Simbin’s newest project.
With not much info around, Amazon’s release dates are one of the few somewhat reliable sources. Being one of the most important retailers world wide, Amazon would probably be one of the first places to announce a new release date.
Since my last posting, not much has changed. The full version is still listed to be released on June 27th in Germany and the expansion pack hits Britain on June 30th. It looks like as the full version will be available earlier, both may be simultaneously available on STEAM though.
Something has changed in the US though and it’s not pleasant news. While the European version will be published by ATARI, Viva Media is taking care of the North American market. They don’t seem to be as quick as the ATARI guys as Amazon.com lists the US version to be released on the 28th of August – A full 8 weeks after the European release. But, like all other Simbin products, American users get it for a very low price. $19,99 for all RACE07 cars and tracks plus the Nordschleife and new cars? That’s what I call a bargain….
