Following STCC The Game 2, Simbin has announced the second paid expansion pack for their RACE07 franchise as the GT Power Pack will soon bring three GT cars and two new tracks to the simulation.
The GT Power Pack will include three new GT cars as the Matech Ford GT, the Pagani Zonda R and BMW’s M3 GT2 will be making their RACE07 debut. The new cars can be raced on two new tracks as the pack will also include Mid Ohio and the Ukranian Chayka circuit.
While the M3 GT2 is a brand new car that has never been used in any Simbin title before, the Zonda R was part of a DLC pack for the console-bound RACE Pro that was released back in July 2009. The Ukranian Chayka track is already known from Volvo The Game while the inclusion of Mid Ohio means that Simbin goes head to head with Virtua_LM whose excellent Mid Ohio version is already available for RACE07, making for a very interesting quality comparison.
The GT Power Pack will be released on April 19, selling for 4,99???. While the pack offers less content than STCC The Game 2, it also sells for only half the price as Simbin continues their policy of selling new content at a fair & attractive price.
