The battle of the console heavyweight racing titles is not just about car numbers or features but also about big marketing.
Turn 10 throws their hat into the ring with an impressive new promo using the Mclaren MP-12C road car driven by Tanner Foust. The car is equipped with a special camera that films 680 aluminum panels that have been set up at Birmingham Motorsports Park, each showing a single frame of a Forza Motorsport 5 video trailer.
The result is quite impressive even though the resulting “trailer” does not really show off any new features or content, the underlying idea & execution is remarkable though.
Forza Motorsport 5 is due to be released for Microsoft???s upcoming Xbox One. New features of the fifth installment of the Forza franchise include laser-scanned tracks, open wheel race cars and lots of new content.
Being a launch title for the new Xbox One, Forza Motorsport 5 will require an internet connection prior to the first launch as a substantial part of the game has to be downloaded off the internet first.
