Ferrari has announced the launch of the official Ferrari Hublot Esports Series, inviting all aspiring sim racers to race their way into an elite team of eSport competitors
The competition will use Assetto Corsa and let pro-level and amateur eSports drivers face off against each other, with the overall quickest driver at the end of the competition being invited to join the Ferrari Driver Academy Hublot Esports Team for the 2021 season.
The events Pro-tier will see 24 professionals and “well known personalities” compete starting in October.
You’re not a “well known personality”? No worries, as the event also features an amateur competition that will be open to all interested sim racers at last 18 years of age. Amateur sim racers will then compete in weekly qualifying events starting in September and work their way up to the showdown against the Pro-Tier drivers to fight for the grand prize.
While the official registrations will not be open for another nine days, interested sim racers can already pre-register for the Ferrari Hublot Esports Series here.
