Fanatec Universal Wheel Hub – Hands-On Videos

First hands-on impression videos of Fanatec’s new Universal Wheel Hub have surfaced.

Two weeks ago, Fanatec started selling the Universal Wheel Hub that allows owners of the CSW base to use all kinds of aftermarket wheel rims with their Fanatec hardware.

Now, first examples have been spotted in the wild as Franz Brink shares two videos of his example in action. The first video shows the wheel hub in action with the Logitech G27 rim that Franz mounted to it, the second gives us a close look at the unit together with a custom racing wheel.

  • 16 integrated buttons on top of the hub
  • 4 button boxes with 3 buttons each

An additional 16 buttons are placed on top of the unit for users who prefer to use buttonless third-party rims, still giving players the controls needed to sim race.
