Fanatec Porsche 911 Carrera – Production Starting Soon

Back in November 2008, Fanatec initially announced the Porsche 911 Carrera wheel as newest member of their line of Porsche wheels. The focus on other projects such as the Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel has delayed its introduction but now that the Turbo S production has come to an end after 10.000 units, Fanatec has announced to start producing the Carrera wheel soon.

Compatible to PC and Playstation 3 racing titles, the 911 Carrera wheel is designed to be Fanatec’s budget option, offering many features of the pricier Fanatec wheels for a competative price. Since the innitial announcement, Fanatec has made several improvements to the concept that are listed below, creating a rather impressive feature list.

  • Full PS3 compatibility because of new electronics based on the PWTS
