Back when Fanatec revealed the new version of their much sought-after ClubSport wheelbase, the company revealed that the new base will take a new route in terms of platform compatibility.
Instead of having the compatibility decided by the base’ electronics, the scope of hardware that can be used with the CSW V2 is determined by the wheel rims.
So far, the CSW V2 has been announced to support the PC as well as the Playstation 3 but it seems like Fanatec is about to unveil a wheel rim that will add support for Microsoft’s new Xbox One console as a newly-released teaser image suggests.
When Fanatec unveiled the new CSW V2 base back in August, the company hinted??that a contract with one of the two console makers??regarding platform support had already been signed, it seems like the teaser image answers the question which of the two console makers is the first to support Fanatec’s new base on their new platform.
