Codemasters has announced that their Formula One 2011 title for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox has gone gold, effectively ending the pre-release development of the title.
The gold status means that the title’s code for all three platforms has been submitted for mass production. The title will be available in 15 days time, below is a celebratory group photo of the development team with lead designer Stephen Hood being especially delighted about the finished work.
F1 2011 will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on September 23, right in time for the final races of the real life 2011 Formula One World Championship season.
