Back in September, Team Enduracers suffered a huge blow when the release of their Porsche Cup Series mod for rFactor had to be called off after a legal inquiry from Porsche.
The team seems to be well over this setback as a new preview has been released, showing the 2009 Aston Martin DBR1 LMP1 prototype.
Even though the car would fit their existing Endurance Series Mod for rFactor nicely, the team officially has no announced plans for this car yet as Enduracers (like most other modding teams) are currently waiting to see how the situation in terms of moldable racing simulations is going to play out in the coming months.
Powered by a V12 petrol engine, the DBR1 was Aston Martin’s choice for LMP1 competition. Even though the cars were raced as a full-blown factory effort, the DBR1s had no chance to get involved in the battle of the Diesel giants between Audi and Peugeot.
