Back in April, Codemasters launched the Early Access beta of Dirt Rally on Steam. What started as a basic version with limited content seven months ago has since then been gradually expanded with plenty of new updates and features.
Since the first-version release, the title has been equipped with new content such as modern rally cars, Group B machinery and legendary rally locations like Pikes Peak and the high-speed Finland stages.
Furthermore, Codemasters have also announced a licensing agreement with the FIA Rallycross championship, adding this form of off-road racing to the title as well.
It seems like the studio is confident of the title to be ready ??to make it’s store debut as DiRT Rally is listed at retailers to become available in physical form starting December 8!
Like the Early Access version, the retail release will be PC only as console-versions of Codemasters’ current offering are not on the horizon just yet.
