jpalesi has released the Detroit Belle Isle Park for rFactor, adding a famous CART venue to the simulation.
The download includes the track in several layouts, from the 1985 proposal layout to the configuration that was first used in 1998.
After racing in the downtown of Detroit, the CART series moved to a temporary street circuit on Detroit’s Belle Isle in 1992. The 3.4 kilometer circuit hosted several CART rounds as well as Trans-Am racing and, starting in 2007, the American Le Mans Series and the IRL.
