An Hungarian developer is working on a free Dakar Rally simulation, tackling what is one of the most difficult motorsport events to simulate. The Dakar rally covers thousands of kilometers of stages, having road cars, bikes and trucks compete in three classes.
Below are the first previews, as you can see the graphics are still kind of basic. Nevertheless, rally fans can already try a first test version, including well known cars like the VW Tourag and the Hummer. The game supports both Direct3D and OpenGL and runs both in Windows and Linux.
