CXC Simulations have released a new video showing off their newest invention – Speed-sensisitve blowers.
The fans are meant to increase the immersion level while driving open wheel cars, simulating wind depending on the car’s speed.
Interestingly, this invention has only become practical ever since virtual reality headsets like the Oculus are around as the fans have to be set on eye-level to be effective, blocking the view on traditional screen setups.
It’s not known whether CXC plans on selling these individually or if they will stay bundled as part of their simulator lineup.
