CTDP has officially announced their first ever modding project for rFactor 2 – International Formula Masters 2009.

CTDP has officially announced their first ever modding project for rFactor 2 – International Formula Masters 2009.

Featuring a single car model, the mod is planned as a test excersise for the team to explore the new platform & packaging system. The team plans to release the car with a bunch of liveries and templates, allowing the community to full in the missing paint jobs.

Long-time VirtualR readers will remember the car model made by erale as he first showed off the 2008-spec version of the car back in 2009. Since then, the 2009-spec machine has been created and equipped with new materials, shaders and other rFactor 2-specific features.

Launched in 2007, the Formula Master was designed to be an alternative to Formula 3, offering young drivers a platform to prove themselves on.The spec car used for International Formula Master competition is built by Tatuus and is powered by a a Honda K20A engine that puts out 250hp.??Supporting the WTCC, the series got major TV coverage on Eurosport before it folded after the 2009 season.
