Formula One journalist Craig Scarborough has recently been given the chance to try out the University of Hertfordshire’s Cruden Simulator.
Since Craig specialises on analyzing Formula One technology, he’s put together a very well-written article about his experience including plenty of photos and technical details.
Like others who had the chance to sample such a professional simulator, Craig describes braking as one of the main challenges when it comes to the driving experience.
Unlike many Formula One simulators that use rFactor Pro, Cruden uses a software based on Ruud van Gaal’s free simulation software Racer instead.
Sim Racers who are visting this weekend’s Formula One Grand Prix at the Nürburgring can even try one of Cruden’s simulators themselves as the company has a presence in the Santander booth.
