We’ve already seen quite a few talented DIY sim racers who created Formula One replica steering wheels but kona023’s Ferrari SF15-T wheel has to be the most detailed yet.
Started in 2015, the wheel is modeled after the real wheel of the??SF15-T Ferrari Formula One car, including an almost obscene amount of buttons & switches to control all the cars electronics & hybrid systems.
Impressive features of the wheel include the use of real carbon fibre, custom circuits powering prototyped electronics & display. Currently, the display is operational only with F1 2016 and the wheel’s quick-release mechanism has no counterpart on a steering wheel base yet as kona023 has run a bit out of steam after his long journey to get where he is now with this amazing creation.
How much money has been spent to create this wheel has not been disclosed but safe to say, this is a an amazing creation which you can admire in plenty of photos below.
