arefa has released his Campionato Italiano GT 2005 mod for GTR2, simulating the 2005 season of the Italian GT championship. The mod contains 36 cars, ranging from powerful Maserati and Ferraris to Porsches and the all-new Maserati Light. The creator has gone great lengths to accurately simulate the championship: From new wings on some cars to the all-new GT3 class – Everything is in there for proper Italia GT racing.
The mod also comes with a fully-functional weight penalty system, making you carry penalty weights after good results. When running a season, the grid changes accordingly to the real-life season with race-specific liveries also included. This all makes up one of the most detailed GTR2 mods so far, check out the screenshots below and give it a try!
