Bernard Dupaul has released the Brooklands track for rFactor, bringing the first-ever purpose built motorsports facility to the simulation.
Located in Surrey, England, Brooklands opened in 1907, providing the first permanent setting for motorsports competition. The 4.43 kilometer track was closed in 1939, the rFactor version comes with three different configurations.
To give sim racers some proper machinery to race on this iconic track, Bernard has also released the Mercedes SSK. The German sports car debuted in 1928 and was the fastest car of its day, being powered by a 7 liter engine that put out 220hp.
