The Ultimodteam is working on bringing the Belgian VW Funcup Series to RACE07, using iDT’s rFactor mod as a base for their improvements.
The mod will include the nimble VW Funcup cars both in the original state iDT released them a few years back for rFactor as well as in a modern version using new TDI engines and technical improvements like Motec.
The VW Funcup is a Belgium-based series using simplistic racing cars sporting a VW Beetle silhouette. The cars are intended to offer competitive racing for the lowest possible price, using only mass market parts that are easy to replace and repair. The series is best known for their 25 Hours of Spa Francorchamps event that allows amateur drivers of all levels to compete in a real endurance race.
