The Gamescom expo in Cologne does not just feature plenty of brand new titles that visitors can try, the event also shows off what is arguably one of the most impressive racing simulators ever.
Audi’s Quattro GmbH has put together a custom Gran Turismo 5 simulator, resembling the Audi R8 LMS race car that is used in GT3 series around the world. The simulator is equipped with a second seat so a co-driver can share the experience, the game’s data is transmitted to the car’s display for an authentic driving feeling.
To fully experience the thrill of racing, the simulator is equipped with motion capabilties as pneumatic cylinders control the car’s suspension. Check out a video of the impressive simulator in action below.
