Diromo has released the Aston Martin DBR1-2 for rFactor, bringing Aston Martin’s Le Mans Prototype to the simulation.
Originally made for GTR2, the mod includes several skins from the 2010 sports car racing season both from the Aston Martin works squad and the French Signature squad. The mod comes with full night light effects such as headlights and glowing numbers as well as two different tire compounds from Dunlop & Michelin.
The DBR1-2 is based on the Lola B08/60 LMP1 coupe and was co-developed by Prodrive, making it the first ever Aston Martin built to the LMP regulations. The car is powered by the Aston Martin V12 engine known from the company’s DBR9 GT1 class challenger and managed to win the 2009 Le Mans Series Championship, including three race-wins.
