In a very welcome surprise move, Austrian car & bike maker KTM has released an official Assetto Corsa mod of their KTM X-Bow GT4 race car!
While the X-Bow GT4 is also part of the recently released GT4 DLC pack for Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa players can now enjoy the car for free thanks to KTM’s collaboration with Sim-Department & Kunos Simulazioni.
Built by Reiter Engineering, the lightweight & nimble X-Bow GT4 is powered by a two-liter Audi TFSI engine, using a seven-speed sequential gear box.
KTM is now officially the first car manufacturer to release an official sim racing mod, something that we can only hope will become a bit of a trend in the industry!
