Two time World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx will be joining Team RaceSimCentral for the 2008 WTCC season. Even though his years with BMW UK have been nothing short of a success story,the Briton knew he couldnt pass up this opportunity.
“There are some things in life you just have to do,” Priaulx commented. “When I got the chance to work with this magnificent group of racing enthusiasts, I knew I couldnt turn it down.”
Priaulx got the chance to test the team’s brand new BMW 320si at Zandvoort and was initially impressed with the multi-national outfit. The fully works-supported team will be fielding a second car which will be driven by a yet unnamed former F1 champion. Here are some shots of the Zandvoort test:
