A1GP 2008/2009 for rFactor – New Previews

Kyle Puttifer has made lots of progress on his mod that will bring the final season of the discontinued A1GP open-wheel series to rFactor.

Below are lots of new previews and two videos, showing off some of the progress Kyle has made. He’s found some help along the way as hex has refined the car skins, Giuseppe Rainieri will be providing the intro video and last but not least, a former A1GP engineer is helping with getting the physics right.

This mod will finally bring the A1GP series to rFactor, as long as the series was active potential legal trouble kept modders from working on the series.

Launched in 2005, the A1GP series was remarkable for various reasons. Every team & every driver represented their nation, making A1GP the “World Cup of Motorsports”. Another unique angle was that the series was primarily racing in the winter during the off-season of all major motorsport series. During the first few years, the series used spec-chassis by Lola before switching to Ferrari-built cars for the series’ final season.
