Giuseppe Rainieri has created a stunning intro video for Kyle Puttifer’s A1GP 2008/2009 mod for rFactor.
This mod will finally bring the A1GP series to rFactor, as long as the series was active potential legal trouble kept modders from working on the series. A former A1GP engineer is helping with the physics of the mod, ensuring a realistic driving experience.
Launched in 2005, the A1GP series was remarkable for various reasons. Every team & every driver represented their nation, making A1GP the “World Cup of Motorsports”. Another unique angle was that the series was primarily racing in the winter during the off-season of all major motorsport series. During the first few years, the series used spec-chassis by Lola before switching to Ferrari-built cars for the series’ final season.
